LIQUID BLENDING
Seatex is equipped with three separate liquid blending facilities consists of 20 stainless and poly vessels ranging from 400 - 10,000 gallons. The entire plant is equipped with steam and nitrogen for high viscosity and moisture sensitive materials. Soft water is used in all blends and DI water is available when necessary.
BLEND AREA 1 BLEND AREA 2 BLEND AREA 3 All blend tanks are equipped with load cells, weight measuring scales, which enable us to precisely monitor the addition of each ingredient. We presently utilize 28 bulk holding tanks for raw material and finished goods inventory.
Our main liquid blending area produces the bulk of the products that we manufacture. This liquid blending area can produce the widest variety of chemical blends including acidic/ alkaline formulations.
We have dedicated a blending room for the blending of formulations that require manufacturing segregation. Such products may contain large amounts of dark color particulate.
Our third liquid blending room is equipped to handle all blends, but more specifically combustible and flammable compounds. Raw materials can be recieved by rail, tanker trucks, or trucks.
POWDER BLENDING
Our dry blending consists of five blenders. One ribbon at ~5000 lbs., one paddle at ~5000 lbs., one paddle at ~2000 lbs. and two Munson Rotary mixers. The Munson mixers are designed to produce ~1000 lbs. and ~2000 lbs. We have an overall powder blending capacity of over 100,000 lbs per day.
Each powder blender is equipped with load cells for accuracy and Mateer-Burt automatic fillers adjustable to fill any weight specification.
