Seatex complies with all EPA, FDA, NSF, Kosher, UL, Green Seal, DfE, USGBC, and CRI certifying and/or regulatory agencys' requirements for those applicable formulations.
Quality control starts with purchasing from reputable vendors and setting quality specifications on the raw materials brought in. Tests and inspections are made of all raw materials before they are unloaded into our inventory. Prior to a blend the formulations is printed out and assigned a batch number. Raw material inventories are checked to ensure the batch size can be completed.
Our liquid and powder blenders are all equipped with load-cells which monitor the weight of each raw material as it is added to the vessel ensuring formulation accuracy greatly. A sample is taken by production personnel to the qulaity insurance lab where it is then approved for packaging. The quality assurance lab technician will ensure all formula specifications have been met and approves the release of the formulation for packaging.
It is company policy to keep and retain a sample of each batch for one year unless otherwise specified by the client or regulatory agencies. Formulations are setup in our computer and are consistently monitored for adjustments.
Our lab is equipped with testing equipment to ensure the formulation specifications are met on every batch manufactured.
