Environmentally Preferred

The private label contract chemical manufacturing, blending and packaging industry has seen an increased interest in producing environmentally preferred private label formulas and packaging.

This interest is driven by a desire to reduce potential environmental impact to our water and air as well as improve worker safety.

Seatex has been proactive in creating an extensive library of formulas to address the desire for these environmentally acceptable private label formulas.

In collaboration with Chemblend LLC, Seatex  library of formulas have been certified by Green Seal and /or the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Design for the Environment (DFE) program. 

Our green formulas include those that would be used in foodservice, janitorial, laundry and institutional markets. They also have been formulated in liquid, powder and solid variations.

Besides our certified green formulations Seatex has an extensive list of environmentally preferable formulas. These formulations include those that reduce or replace solvents, employ natural ingredients derived from plants, or use microbial ingredients to remove or digest soils.

Additionally, Seatex recognizes that the environment is also protected by the source reduction of packaging, reducing transportation weight, and reducing potential wasteful usage.

We have developed formulas in very concentrated form providing very high use cost and eliminating shipping weight.

We can also provide closed loop systems, portion control packaging as well as encapsulated and solid packaging that can reduce employee interaction with concentarted chemical products.

We fully realize that in the future there will be more demand for private label chemical products that provide performance and environmental benefits and Seatex is committed to being able to provide both formulations and packaging that address our customer's desire for a cleaner environment.
